Mesoamerica. About 1,000 years before the time of Christ, a consortium of autonomous city/kingdoms developed and flourished in a region now mapped as southern Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras. They thrived until around the Fifteenth Century AD, leaving behind astounding monuments to the energy, industry, and ingenuity of their populations. They built temples rivaling those of Egypt... not as large but more extensive. A calendar more accurate than our own. Astronomical observations used in their building that reveal a surprising degree of sophistication and knowledge. http://www.trailwoodfilms.com/beneath.html

TEXAS with Dale Johnson
When standing in El Paso, Texas, you're closer to Los Angeles than to Texarkana on the other side of the state. There is a lot to explore in Texas where you will find NASA, metroplexes, the Big Thicket, a technological Silicone Valley around the capital city of Austin. The Alamo still stands as an iconic symbol of the Texas spirit, and the battle is reenacted every year. The second largest canyon in the U.S., Palo Duro, is found here, a fact not well known, even in Texas. Join award winning film producer Dale Johnson as he visits many places in Texas, including the Dealey Plaza, site of John Kennedy's assassination, Ft. Worth with its many stockyards, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Braken Cave where 20 million bats emerge each evening at dusk, Texas wineries and much, much more....

In 1893, Clara Driscoll returns to work for Louis Comfort Tiffany after her husband dies. Because of her passion for color and stained-glass, Tiffany makes her the head of the women's art department. He and Clara begin to develop a new prototype of lamp made of leaded glass (which he will one day be famous for) and Clara puts all of her energy into being recognized not only as a hard worker with an eye for color, but an innovative and brilliant designer as well. Clara longs for love and marriage but two things stand in her way; her own commitment to her art and Tiffany's policy of making any women who marry while working for him resign.

About Me

As an artist, my goal is to bring my work out from the studio and into the world. My focus is on supporting other Maine artists and sharing my art within the community. I am influenced by the natural world as well as the works of artists such as Frank Stella, Wassily Kandinsky, and Hilda Hiary. As an abstract artist I focus on experimentation and reshaping the present artistic environment. Through movement, bold colors, and texture, my art is an expression of the enduring human impulse to create. It is by creating art that I am able to connect with the world around me and to truly express my spirit. The result is bold, imaginative, and brazen art for the world to see.
